About Lee
Legendary actress Lee Ann Meriwether
became a household name after being crowned "Miss America" in 1955.
Shortly
after her reign, Lee became one of the first co-hosts of "The Today Show"
on NBC.
In 1966, Lee played "Catwoman" in
the original "Batman" movie (click on the photo to see a clip of Lee from
"Batman - The Movie").

After numerous television roles
over the years,
Lee is best-known as private detective Betty Jones, daughter-in-law and
crime-solving partner to Buddy Ebsen's character in the popular long-running series
"Barnaby Jones", a role that earned Lee 2 Golden Globe nominations
and an Emmy Award nomination. During the show's eight-year run, Lee enjoyed
an on- and off-screen friendship with the elder Ebsen. Lee continued to keep in touch with Ebsen for many years until his death in
2003. Lee is also best known in the UK for her portrayal of Lily Munster
in the 1988 remake of
"The Munsters", &
"The Munsters Today". In 1996, Lee took over the role of "Ruth
Martin" on the hit daytime soap opera
"All My Children". She has appeared in numerous stage productions and
is thrilled to be returning to television as correspondent of the "Senior Living
Report" news franchise.
Lee is married, has 2 grown daughters
and lives in California.
